Lake Geneva paddle steamers

I took this photo of a rather exotic paddle steamer on Lake Geneva, not far from the city of the same name. In summer, five of these “belle époque” paddlers, built between 1904 and 1929, operate on the lake in conjunction with the commercial company CGN, which has another three paddle-driven ships of its own. (The five referred to above are owned by an amateur enthusiasts’ group.) They certainly make a stylish addition to the grandeur of nature all around.
